Kathmandu (Pahichan) October 16 – Stating that country’s situation is delicate and serious, homosexual and transgender community has requested all the concerned to be responsible.
Issuing an appeal, Blue Diamond Society said due to the internal situation and de facto blockade imposed by India, the Dashain festival is not going to be happy. “Dashain festival is approaching but people are facing crisis of essential needs, so consumer’s rights should be respected.”
The Society urged to resolve the internal crisis though a peaceful means and urged concerned parties to be united to resolve the diplomatic crisis.
The Society said that constitution promulgated on September 20 has provided some relief to the country which suffered from April 25 great earthquakes. “However, there have not been any efforts to resolve the crisis that emerged after the constitution promulgation,” the appeal said.
The appeal jointly issued by Society Chairman Pinki Gurung and Executive Director Manisha Dhakal urged to address the demands of people and continue the aspirations sprouted after constitution promulgation. The Society has wishes that necessary laws would be formulated for the implementation of constitution.
