Kathmandu (Pahichan) February 20 – Joint General Secretary of Nepal Student Union Prem Joshi has said that members of gender and sexual minority will be accommodated in the organization.
Speaking to Pahichan, Joshi said that as NSU has a national character and identity, it would try to accommodate all the sections of society. “NSU is the only organization which will be strong only if all the communities would take the ownership. We will try to accommodate all the sections of society,”
Joshi said. Joshi said in the 11th General Convention, they have given the reservation to two representatives.
“If they are also facing difficulties during the study time, they can seek help from us disclosing their identity,” said Joshi. He requested to make a claim in the scholarship that colleges would offer. “We will encourage the members of gender and sexual minority if they want to join the politics,” said Joshi.
