Two issues to get priority in Film festival
Kathmandu (Pahichan) November 9 – Two issues of LGBTI will get priority in the Ekadeshma Antarastriya Laghu Film Festival. The Festival will saw the screening of 78 small cinemas and the duration of those films would be less than 30 minutes. This is the fourth edition of Festival which began in 2069.
Ekadesh has informed that there will be the screening of films which has incorporated the issues of gender and sexual minority including homosexual, transgender, bi-sexual and people with inter-sex. The films which will be screened under Love Letter Section will be extraordinary.
Priority has been given as it is different from traditional character selection. The festival will take place in Kartik 26,27 and 28 in Kumari Cinema. Along with screening the films, there will be interaction. According to Manisha Dhakal, Executive Director of BDS, its Chairman Pinky Gurung will provide lecture about this community.
